REFRACTORY ANCHORS

The anchor spacing figures shown (in table 3) are for one component linings on vertical surfaces. The concentration of anchors would usually be greater for overhead application,
and less for floor application due to the stresses created by gravity. Other variables such as vibration or abrasion at the refractory hot face would also affect anchor placement.
